The Pastor's Pondering is updated every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
The orchestra had taken some time for a break following their rehearsal to have a coke and snacks. One of the attendants at the theater wandered about the room checking to make sure the audience area was properly prepared for the concert in a couple of hours.
He walked up on the stage to clear away some debris left on the floor. He took time to dust off the piano. Seeing one of the violins on a seat, he carefully picked it up. He tucked it under his chin as he’d seen the members of the orchestra do and drew the bow across the strings. He smiled at the sound that was created.
Seeing this, another worker in the theater called to him, “Hey, can you play the violin?”
“I don’t know,” said the man, “I’ve never tried.”
Sometime today you’re going to arrive at a juncture where you’ll never know unless you try.
